As I was waiting for my turn to blast at the customer service person who would be serving me, I couldn't help but noticed a lady seated opposite me. She was using an iPhone.. not the 5 or 4. It wasn't even a 3. It was the first generation iPhone. I couldn't help also noticing that she she was talking into the earphone plugged in and that the phone had a cracked screen.
At that moment, a thought suddenly flashed in my head...or rather, it was a question..."Why are you so flustered? Ain't you blessed even to be able to always have a decently recent phone? What is the purpose of a phone?"
I must add that whilst making my way to the service centre, I was entertaining the thought of buying a new phone whilst the faulty one gets repaired. I was thinking about how I should try trade it in whilst its got its value once it is discharged from the service centre, which latest model i should buy etc etc.
But all that change, when I saw that iPhone with a cracked screen...
