I always love the blue sky, I don't know why. Somehow it brings calm, peace and a sense of hope whenever I witness such s sight. I love capturing such a sight and my camera-phone is full of photos I've taken over the years of blue skies.
In many ways, I think our mind needs the blue sky too - clear of the haze and be in a state of calm and peace. And in recent months, I've started to do something that is so against the flow of my personality - I've been de-cluttering and trying to stay organized,
First of all, I've learnt to throw away things that I have no need for - be they gadgets, little knick-knacks or toys. I've also started to organize my working bag (for once!) I've always horded tons of paper and stuff in my briefcase, just in case I needed them - only to learn over time that I actually don't!
For those who like to increase their personal productivity, I recommend you read David Allen's Getting Things Done. And for those who just want some quick tipos and hacks, here are a few of my go-to web-links:
Michael Hyatt is someone new I'm reading and learning from and he has a series of podcast in the area of productivity that I thought was very interesting. You can check him out here: www.michaelhyatt.com.
Okay, it's time for me to sign off and to kick-start my productive Monday! Until the next reflection, here's to a more productive you!
